A special bond forms between people who have experienced losses, especially those with similar experiences.
I belong to a special group- Usually called "Baby Loss Moms" Or "Angel Moms". I don't think that does it justice. My special group, specifically of 3 or 4 very special women are my "Sisters in Heartbreak" (SiH).
These women know my pain, and I know theirs.
Theirs triumphs are mine, and mine are theirs.
My falls are theirs, and theirs are mine.
When one gets pregnant, I rejoice.
When one suffers a loss, I mourn.
Their angels are my angels, and my angels are theirs.
I care about each of them as I would my own flesh and blood. In fact they are more than flesh and blood, they are my spirit.
Where I would be without them? I can't honestly say. Maybe I'd be here, but I highly doubt it.
Emma got me to start blogging. Kendra to not be afraid. Carrie to reach out and care with all my heart.
Dave does so much for me and there's no denying it. I would not have survived this long without him. Yet, everyone will agree- two women bond over something differently than a man and a woman. Sometimes the "woman's touch" is needed. In this case without it many don't survive.
I would do just about anything for my SiH, and I have no doubt they would say the same for me.
If there were any way of showing them just how much they truly mean to me... I would do it.
I don't know if they'll read this, but if they do:
Ladies- I love you each so very much, and you are each unique in what you do for me. If there's anything I can ever do for you, please please please tell me. I love you each more than you can know.
I love you Montana
