Prayers

Today a friend of mine was killed in tragic car accident.
Alice was driving her sedan with her fiance and 7 month old baby girl in the car, when a motorcyclist cut in front of her. Alice swerved to miss the motorcyclist and ended up rolling her car 4 times. Alice died shortly after arriving at the hospital, her fiance is in stable condition and her baby girl, Kylie, is in critical condition.
The doctors have little hope for Kylie. They don't even think that she'll make it through the night.
Please pray for baby Kylie.
Alice's fiance, John, will be crushed enough to lose Alice, but for him to lose his pride and joy too... I don't know if he'll survive it.
Please add Kylie to your prayers tonight...
If you don't remember, Kylie was named after my angel Kylie. I don't think heaven is ready for two Kylies...

Writing and thoughts

Sorry, I haven't written in so long. There's so many things going on and my life has been crazy. I've had a few rough nights but things have been ok. I feel like I'm healing a little more each day. I miss my darling angels, but I know they're safe in heaven.
I would like to thank Angel Whispers for recognizing Kylie and James in their Winter 2008 newsletter. Thank you so much, it meant so much to me and their Daddy.
I feel like healing is still happening and I haven't hit much resistance in the past month or so. I still get a little sad, but its not as nearly as awful as it once was in the not so distant past.
It helps for me to think of my angels as the future guardian angels of my next babies. This idea helps me to know they have a purpose and this wasn't just an extremely unfortunate series of ugly events. It helps to know that my future children will have some of the best guardian angels out there. Their daddy already found this out, when he rolled his car on James' birthday and came away unscathed. Our angels are looking out for us. I love them so much.
I've also been doing a little bit of writing, thought I'd share one of my new poems with you before I go for the night.
On angels wings she went,
Away from me and you,
Leaving us asking why,
And questioning everything we knew,
She wasn't supposed to leave,
Much too young to go,
So much potential never reached,
A life extinguished so early,
So here we sit today,
Without her in our lives,
Trying only just to live,
With these broken hearts.
